1. Melt milk chocolate morsels in a saucepan over very low heat or on a very low setting in the microwave.
2. Stir in granola cereal and salted peanuts.
3. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper-lined cookie sheets.
4. Garnish with candied cherry or candy coated chocolate pieces, if desired.
5. Chill in the refrigerator until firm.
