Fudge Nut Coconut Bars

Cookie crust mixture prepared from brown sugar, all-purpose flour, unsalted butter and coconut pecan filling. Mixture is pressed into baking pan and topped with brownie mix and another layer of cookie mixture before being baked and cut into dessert bars.

Ingredients -
1/2 cup packed Brown Sugar
1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
1/4 cup Butter, melted
1 package German Chocolate Brownie Mix
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Add brown sugar, all-purpose flour, unsalted butter and coconut pecan filling (from brownie mix) to medium mixing bowl.

3. Stir mixture using fork until crumbly. Reserve 1/2 cup of this mixture and set aside.

4. Press remaining mix into ungreased 13 x 9-inch rectangular pan.

5. Prepare brownie batter per box directions and spread evenly over crust.

6. Sprinkle with reserved crumbly mix.

7. Bake 38-40 minutes in preheated oven or until topping is golden brown. Cool completely.

8. For best results refrigerate before serving.
